CK police briefs - Friday, March 29, 2024

Break and Enter

Chatham-Kent police are looking for suspects after a break and enter at a business on Erie Street South in Wheatley.

Police responded to the business on Thursday morning. Sometime in the overnight hours, unknown suspects damaged three doors to gain access to the building. It is unknown at this time what was taken. The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

Chatham-Kent police say on officer on general patrol in the town Wallaceburg on Thursday located a male on Baseline Road who was known to be wanted on a warrant for breaching his Probation Order.

The 29-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released with a future court date of April 22, 2024.
