Canada-wide warrant issued for Windsor man

A Windsor man is the subject of a Canada-wide warrant for a breach of his statutory release.

The OPP's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad is looking for Nicholas McCullough, 30, who is serving a six-year, seven-month, and one-day sentence for a 2015 shooting near a downtown Windsor nightclub.

He was tried and convicted in 2019 on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, discharging a restricted or prohibitive firearm with intent, possession of a weapon contrary to order, and failure to comply with a probation order.

McCullough is also wanted by Windsor police for break-and-enter, wearing a disguise to commit an offence, pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, robbery, using a firearm to commit an offence, assault to commit bodily harm, possessing a dangerous weapon, and six counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited.

McCullough is known to frequent the Windsor, Chatham-Kent, London, and Sarnia-Lambton areas.

If you have information on McCullough's whereabouts, do not approach him yourself and call 911 immediately.
