'Near zero visibility' can be expected as dense fog blankets region

Parts of southwestern Ontario can expect “near zero visibility” Thursday night due to “dense fog patches.”

The national weather agency has issued fog advisories for parts of the province, including Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, London, Middlesex, and Sarnia-Lambton.

The advisory said that visibility should improve by Friday morning. In the meantime, Environment Canada said that visibility may be “significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.”

Drivers are urged to use caution in areas of near-zero visibility.
