Another strike for CK Victim Services' annual bowling fundraiser

A bowling fundraiser for Chatham-Kent Victim Services scored big again this year, setting a new high for donations.

The second annual Bowling Thunder event at Chatham Bowlerama on February 4 ended up raising over $12,000.

"Once again the CK community has shown their generosity and helped us beat last year’s fundraising total by over $2,000," said Jason Brown, Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator with CK Victim Services. "It is wonderful to have such tremendous community partners."

The money that was raised will go to the Crisis Services and Community Programming offered by Chatham-Kent Victim Services.

The group offers dedicated, trauma-informed support to those impacted by crime and traumatic situations in every community across Chatham-Kent.

Every year, they support more than 1,200 people in the community with healing and recovery.
