CK Barnstormers welcome a slugger

The Chatham-Kent Barnstormers have signed another baseball player.

The newest Barnstormer is Seth Strong from Huber Heights, Ohio.

Team owner Dom Dinelle said Strong is 6' 3" tall and weighs 225 lbs.

"He is a serious slugger who hits the ball really hard from the left side of home plate. He can play on both corners of the infield as well as behind the plate," said Dinelle.

Strong has appeared in 144 professional games in the Pecos, Frontier, and Pioneer leagues across the U.S.

He is the third player added to the CK Barnstormers roster behind Miles Norman from Portland, Oregon and the first ever player signed by the team, Spencer Marcus from Chatham.

The team plays the home opener of its inaugural season in May 2024 at Fergie Jenkins Field in Chatham. The field will hold 1,200 fans.
