Meth-smoking Chatham-Kent man arrested for indecent act
A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly engaged in some "inappropriate sexual behaviour" while smoking some suspected methamphetamine in Chatham.
CK police said they were called to investigate that after an employee witnessed the incident on Tecumseh Road.
Police said a 49-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with committing an indecent act.
He was taken to police headquarters and was set to be held there pending a bail hearing.

Howard Township man arrested for breaching the peace during domestic disturbance
A 33-year-old man from Howard Township spent some time in police custody after officers received "multiple calls" for a disturbance between a man and his father at a home on Beech Street in Bothwell.
Chatham-Kent police said they responded to the home just before 10:30 a.m. Monday and arrested the man.
He was temporarily held in police custody and was later released without any conditions.

Police catch up with woman wanted for liquor theft
The law has come calling for a 29-year-old Chatham woman who was wanted for allegedly stealing from the LCBO on Wellington Street in Chatham.
CK police said she went into the store right when it opened on October 26 and was recorded on video removing items from the shelves and then leaving without paying for them.
Police said they were able to identify the woman from "previous interactions" and arrested her on Grand Avenue West in Chatham just after 11 a.m. on Monday.
The woman was charged with theft and possession of stolen property and she was later released with a future court date.

Youth arrested for assault in school parking lot
A 17-year-old Chatham boy is facing an assault charge after he allegedly attacked someone after an argument in a parking lot at their school in Chatham.
Police said they were called in to investigate the assault on November 13 and learned that the attack had taken place on November 8.
Investigators said the victim was walking away when the other youth followed and assaulted the victim.
Police arrested a suspect in the case at 4:45 p.m. Monday and charged him accordingly.
He was taken to police headquarters and was later released with conditions and a future court date.
