Woman driving stolen vehicle charged
Chatham-Kent police received a report of a vehicle stolen from a Dresden residence at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police said that officers intercepted the vehicle on Bear Line Road. A 23-year-old woman was found to be driving and was subsequently arrested.
The woman faces one count of theft of a motor vehicle and one count of possession of stolen property under $5,000.
She was released from police custody with a future court date.

Man arrested for multiple offences
A 22-year-old man is facing seven charges stemming from multiple incidents over different days.
Police said he was arrested at a Ridgetown address.
The charges against him include:
Uttering threats x2
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle x3
Assault with a weapon
Mischief under $5,000

Wanted man arrested during service call
Police said that around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were responding to a service call at a Chatham address when they located a man hiding in a bedroom.
According to police, the 51-year-old lied about his identity when questioned. The man was known to police and was arrested on multiple warrants from several jurisdictions, including Chatham-Kent.
He now faces a further charge of obstructing police.
