Dresden man charged with impaired driving

Chatham-Kent police responded to the report of a possible impaired driver early Sunday morning.

Police arrived at the scene at 3:50 a.m. and following an investigation determined that a male driver was driving under the influence of alcohol.

A 27-year-old Dresden man was taken to police headquarters for further testing.

He was charged with impaired driving and released with a future court date.

Man charged with failing to comply

Three strikes and he's out.

A 47-year-old man with two previous orders not to visit a specific address in Chatham was arrested at that address around 11:15 p.m. Saturday.

The previous orders were issued on May 29, 2023, and August 23, 2023.

The Chatham man faces two counts of failing to comply with his probation orders.

He was released with a future court date of November 6, 2023.
