Provincial police are hopeful members of the public have information about a shooting near Walpole Island that sent one person to hospital early Monday morning.
At around 7:30 a.m., emergency crews including members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Walpole Island Police Service and Chatham-Kent EMS responded to a firearms incident on Snye Road.
When crews arrived, one person was located with non-life threatening injuries, and they were taken to hospital by paramedics.
Few other details have been released however, investigators are appealing to the public for information.
