CK police investigating serious crash just outside of Thamesville

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they investigate a serious two-vehicle crash that took place just west of Thamesville.

Police said they were called to the scene on Longwoods Road between Huffs Sideroad and Dew Drop Road in Camden Township shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers said the crash involved a car and a pickup truck, adding that the driver of the pickup was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with non-life threatening injuries while the driver of the car was taken to a hospital in London with severe injuries.

The Traffic Management Unit is taking the lead on the investigation and is asking anyone with information to contact Constable Kristen CHARRON at kristenc@chatham-kent.ca or 519-355-1092.
