In its weekly update, Lambton Public Health reported the 167th related death was an individual in their 60s who died in hospital.
The health unit reported 41 new lab confirmed cases of the virus. The daily average number of cases is down slightly from six to five.
There are two active outbreaks, one of which is at Bluewater Health.
The hospital is caring for eight COVID-positive patients.
