UPDATE: Rainfall warning ends for much of southwestern Ontario

It's been a wet start to the week for parts of southwestern Ontario.

Environment Canada has ended a rainfall warning for people in Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, and London-Middlesex.

Rain began Monday night over the region and moved northeast early Tuesday.

Forecasters are still calling for heavy rain at times, with up to 25 millimeters of rain in some areas.

Rain and drizzle are expected to linger Tuesday night before tapering off Wednesday morning.
