Chatham declared Tim Horton's roll-up capital of Ontario

Tim Hortons Canada has named Chatham the "roll-up" capital of Ontario.

Chatham placed third in the overall top rolling cities across Canada following Sydney, Nova Scotia, and Saint John, New Brunswick.

Woodstock and Orillia also made it to the list of the top five winners of free coffee and donuts.

"They earned enough rolls to win with the most free coffees and donuts on a per capita basis compared to anywhere in Canada," Tim Hortons Canada said in a release Monday.

The list is determined by looking at where the free coffee and donut prizes are redeemed across Canada last spring.

Chatham has a population of roughly 45,000 people with ten Tim Hortons locations across the community.

This year, Tim Hortons is giving away 9.8 million coffee prizes, which the company said is enough to fill two Olympic-sized swimming pools.

Tim Hortons is also giving away 4.2 million doughnuts, which if stacked, the company said would be as tall as 193 CN Towers.

"That’s also the equivalent of almost 18 Mount Logans, which is the highest mountain in Canada," the company said.

The contest is on now until April 3.
