Wallaceburg man arrested for assault, break and enter 

A 45-year-old Wallaceburg man is facing charges after being found in the garage of a Hudson Crescent home in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent police said a resident saw the accused inside his garage allegedly stealing his belongings just after 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The resident approached the accused resulting in him allegedly being assaulted, according to police.

The accused was arrested for assault as well as break and enter and later released with a court date.

According to Chatham-Kent police, the victim was walking around King Street East in Chatham when she was approached by a woman she didn't know and struck in the face.
