Internet voting is now live in CK's municipal election

Online voting is now open in Chatham-Kent for the municipal election.

Internet voting will run until October 16, 2022 at 10 p.m. and you can find a link to that here. In order to vote online, you will need the PIN number that is provided on your voter’s card.

Municipal libraries across Chatham-Kent will also offer internet voting stations for anyone who does not have access to the internet or a computer. Visitors can use the stations during regular library hours.

There are approximately 60 individuals in the running as official candidates for Chatham-Kent Council and area school boards in the municipal election, which will take place on October 24, 2022.

Advance polls will be held October 13, 14 and 15, 2022 and a "vote van" will also be stopping in Wheatley, Erieau, Bothwell, Mitchell's Bay, and Chatham on those dates.

You can find more voter information by clicking here.

Voter cards were mailed out by the municipality last week -- anyone who has not received a voter card should visit their closest municipal centre and complete a form to have one issued.
