Environment Canada had issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Sarnia-Lambton, Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, London-Middlesex, Huron-Perth, Bruce-Grey and Northern Wellington County. The advisories were issued as thunderstorms made their way into the region from Lower Michigan.
By late Wednesday afternoon, all watches had been lifted, with the exception of the one covering Grey and Bruce counties.
