Police save Wallaceburg woman's live using naloxone
A 38-year-old Wallaceburg woman has police to thank after they were able to stop the effects of an overdose using naloxone.
Officers were called to an address on Thomas Avenue around 2 p.m. Friday for reports of a suspected overdose.
Police said the woman regained consciousness after several doses of Naloxone and CPR.
She was later transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

Woman charged after driving while under the influence by drugs
A 30-year-old woman spent some time in police custody after she found driving while under the influence of a drug.
Chatham-Kent police responded to Queen's Line at around 8:30 Friday after reports of a suspected driver on the road.
Police said officers initiated a traffic stop and determined the woman, who was also found to be on court conditions to not be in the company of a passenger in the vehicle, was impaired by a drug.
The woman was arrested, charged and transported to police headquarters where she was held for bail.

Woman arrested after allegedly attacking former partner with a knife
A 30-year-old woman is facing several charges after she allegedly attacked her former partner with a knife during a violent disturbance in Ridgetown.
Chatham-Kent police were called to a domestic disturbance Friday, adding that their investigation revealed the woman had attacked her partner.
Police said during the arrest, the woman spat in the face of one of the officers.
She was charged with assault with a weapon, assaulting a peace officer, and held for bail.

Man arrested for breaching release conditions with visit
A 45-year-old Wallaceburg man is in more trouble with the law after he allegedly visited a place he was supposed to stay away from.
Chatham-Kent police said the man was located in the area of a residence on Murray Street that he was not supposed to be at.
Police said the man resisted before he was arrested. He was transported to headquarters and held of bail.
