Chatham-Kent police allegedly find drugs on wanted woman

A 27-year-old Shrewsbury woman has been arrested and charged after officers allegedly found some drugs on her while she was being arrested.

Chatham-Kent police said they arrested the woman on an outstanding warrant. When they were arresting her, officers allegedly found a small amount of crack cocaine.

As a result, the woman was charged with possession of a schedule one substance.

She was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public's help in locating the owner of a Wallenstein wood splitter.

Police said anyone attempting to claim the wood splitter must provide proof of purchase or other detailed information regarding the ownership.
