Man and woman arrested for robbery
A man and a woman, from Brampton, are facing robbery charges after allegedly assaulting a man and stealing his vehicle from a liquor store parking lot.
Chatham-Kent police responded to the LCBO on Wellington Street at approximately 12:10 p.m. on Friday, January 21.
Police said the vehicle was seen speeding away from the LCBO and that it was later involved in a collision near Ingersoll.
Both the man and woman were arrested for robbery, before being transported to the hospital and medically cleared of injury.
The pair were brought back to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where they were held for bail and remanded into custody until their next court appearance.

Multiple warrant arrests
After a complaint, Chatham-Kent police stopped a 26-year-old Ridgetown man in a vehicle.
The man was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court.
He was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

A 17-year-old male with a warrant was located in a vehicle at a traffic stop.
Police said the teenager had a knife in his waistband, which he was prohibited from having as a condition of his his last release.
He was arrested and later released with a court date in March.
