Grey Bruce Vaccine Hockey Hubs plan being finalized

With no COVID-19 vaccine appointments currently available, The Grey Bruce Health Unit is working on opening more appointment through mass immunizations clinics.

In a media release, the health unit explained the demand for vaccines has significantly increased all Ontarians 18+ became eligible for COVID-19 Booster Appointments at the Three-Month Interval Monday.

The health unit expects booking in the mass immunization clinics will be available in the coming days as soon as the locations are finalized.

In collaboration with the Grey Bruce Vaccine Task Force, local partners and volunteers, the Grey Bruce Health Unit, is setting up mass immunization clinics. The health unit is evaluating three central locations that Bruce Power has offered as mass vaccination clinics, using the Hockey Hub model.

Once the plans and locations are finalized, thousands of appointments will be available to residents that are eligible.
