Over a dozen Sarnia-Lambton schools reporting COVID cases

There are now 13 local schools reporting at least one case of COVID-19.

The Lambton Kent District School Board is reporting 10 student cases and one staff case linked to eight elementary and secondary schools in Sarnia-Lambton.

There are five local elementary and secondary schools at the St. Clair Catholic District School Board, each reporting one confirmed student infection. All schools are open.

Bluewater Health has zero COVID-positive patients in hospital.

Because of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Lambton Public Health is closed Thursday and will provide today's numbers in Friday's daily COVID update.

On Wednesday, the health unit was reporting 79 active infections, and four outbreaks.
