Active COVID infections drop below 60

The number of active COVID-19 infections in Sarnia-Lambton has dropped after a spike in the number of resolved cases.

Lambton Public Health Tuesday reported six new confirmed cases up to 3,839 and 13 resolved cases for a total of 3,712, lowering the active case count by seven to 57.

The health unit is reporting three active outbreaks.

The Lambton Kent District School Board and St. Clair Catholic District School Board, are reporting confirmed student or staff cases at a total of 12 Sarnia-Lambton schools.

Bluewater Health has zero COVID-positive patients in hospital.
