Lambton Public Health reported four new cases of COVID-19 Monday.
The health unit said the caseload since the start of the pandemic has climbed to 3,833 confirmed infections, and the number of cases deemed resolved increased by three to 3,699.
The death toll is unchanged at 70 and the number of active infections has increased by one to 64.
A third outbreak was declared on Saturday at Bkejwanong Kinomaagewgamig Elementary School at Walpole Island First Nation and the school is closed. Outbreaks had been previously declared at the Bkejwanong Children’s Centre and at Gregory A. Hogan Catholic School.
Two classes at St. Patrick's High School in Sarnia are closed after one student tested positive for the virus. The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is also reporting one student case at St. John Fisher Catholic School in Forest affecting one classroom.
The Lambton Kent District School Board is reporting a new student case at Dawn-Euphemia Public School.
Bluewater Health has zero COVID-positive patients in hospital.
