Break and Enter Arrest

Chatham-Kent police have arrested and charged a man from Chatham following a break and enter at a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham Monday night.

The suspect was charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000.

Police said he was also wanted on an outstanding DNA warrant.

Weapons Charges

A 45-year-old Chatham man has been arrested and charged with several offences after a disturbance call in Chatham Monday afternoon.

Police said the suspect was found on Fifth Street around 3 p.m. and charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and breach of undertaking.

Man Charged with Mischief

Mischief charges have been laid against a Wallaceburg man after he urinated all over his prison cell at police headquarters.

Police said the 30-year-old was found highly intoxicated and unable to take care of himself in the area of Westcourt Blvd. just before midnight on Monday and was taken to police headquarters to sleep it off.

Police said the suspect purposely urinated all over the inside and outside of the cell once they put him in there.

Crash in Tilbury claims driver's life

Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

CK police charge woman with assault

According to Chatham-Kent police, the victim was walking around King Street East in Chatham when she was approached by a woman she didn't know and struck in the face.
