Wallaceburg homeowner finds intruder in bedroom

Chatham-Kent police say a Wallaceburg homeowner found an unknown man in his bedroom after hearing a noise.

According to police, the homeowner on Lorne Avenue heard the noise in his residence around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say the homeowner opened his bedroom door and saw the man in the home.

In the report, police say the man stole a jewelry box and fled.
