At around 4:20 p.m. Thursday, the weather agency issued a severe thunderstorm watch for most of southwestern Ontario including Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, London-Middlesex along with Elgin and Oxford counties.
About an hour later, the watch was lifted for all areas.
