Municipality seeking public input on government services

Chatham-Kent is looking for public input when it comes to making government services more effective.

The municipality will be hosting virtual meetings ward-by-ward from July 13 to July 22.

Chatham-Kent hired KPMG Firm to assess the municipality’s current services to determine if they can be delivered more efficiently and effectively within budget and resource capacities. The municipality is also appealing to the public for their input.

The meetings will be as followed:

  • Ward 1, West Kent – Tuesday, July 13, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Ward 2, South Kent – Wednesday, July 14, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Ward 3, East Kent – Thursday, July 15, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Ward 4, North Kent – Tuesday, July 20, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Ward 5, Wallaceburg – Wednesday, July 21, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Ward 6, Chatham – Thursday, July 22 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
If you are unsure of what ward you live in, you can find out here.
