Chatham-Kent libraries set to open back up

As the province loosens COVID-19 restrictions, libraries across Chatham-Kent are getting ready to welcome back visitors.

Starting on Tuesday, all 11 library branches across the municipality will reopen with limited capacity.

Libraries will let patrons pick up holds and select library materials as well as access computers, printers and photocopiers. Curbside service will continue to be offered to those who prefer it.

Computer workstations will be available at all branches for 45 minutes appointments, and wifi stations will also be bookable. However, the municipality is reminding people that library staff can only offer limited technology help at this time.

All COVID-19 precautions will remain in place including mask-wearing, social distancing and hand sanitizing.

More information about branch hours can be found by clicking here.
