Public health officials in Wellington County reported a new fatality Friday due to COVID-19. There have now been 38 deaths related to the virus. Officials added four new cases in Wellington County and there are 42 active cases. 1,521 cases have been resolved.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported no new cases of COVID-19 Friday. There are 24 active cases, 18 of them variants of concern. Three residents with the virus are in hospital. There have been 1,311 resolved cases and five fatalities in Grey Grey. Two other residents with the virus died outside of the region.
Huron Perth Public Health reported nine new cases of COVID-19 Friday. There are 41 active cases, including 23 variants of concern. 1,691 people have recovered from the virus. There have been 57 fatalities related to COVID-19. Currently there are no hospitalizations.
