Few new COVID-19 cases in Midwestern Ontario Tuesday

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added one new case of COVID-19 Tuesday, in Kincardine. There are 58 active cases including 12 variants of concern. There are 437 high risk contacts. Four people are in hospital. 26,519 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Grey and Bruce.

Huron Perth Public Health added two new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday. There are eleven active cases in Huron Perth, and ten variants of concern have been identified, one of them active.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public health added three new cases in Wellington  for a total of 30 active cases.  There are four workplace outbreaks and one school outbreak across Wellington Dufferin Guelph, along with an outbreak at Headwaters healthcare Centre F wing in Orangeville.

Ontario reported 23-hundred and 36 new COVID-19 infections Tuesday and 14 more deaths.
