Perth County is encouraging residents to shop local during the holiday season this year with the chance of earning a great prize.
The County's "Take The Pledge" initiative is asking residents to pledge that they will do 70 percent or more of their holiday shopping at local stores. Residents simply need to visit http://perthcounty.ca/TakeThePledge to fill out a short online form. After taking the pledge, users will receive a social media badge to share with others that they are making the commitment to support local businesses.
All who enter will have a chance to win a $1,000 Perth County Shopping spree. The county wanted to show appreciation and support for the business community who stepped up during the first and now second waves of COVID-19.
