Police looking for bank robber in Chatham

Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect in connection with an alleged bank robbery at the Royal Bank on King Street West in Chatham.

Police said shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon, police were called to the bank after an unknown man entered the building and demanded cash from the teller.

Officers said the man was given an undisclosed amount of cash and took off on a white mountain bike before police arrived.

No one in the bank was physically injured.
