Female defecates on Wallaceburg street 

A woman had to spend some time with police after allegedly defecating in public in Wallaceburg.

Around 4:30 p.m. Friday, police got a disturbance call about the woman defecating in the middle of the street.

She was arrested for breach of the peace and was transported to police headquarters where she was later released from custody.

Man arrested on warrants 

On Friday around 2 p.m., a 30-year-old man was arrested on Richmond Street in Chatham on warrants for theft and possession and breach of probations.

After being taken to police headquarters, he was released from custody with a future court date.

Break and enter in Wheatley 

Police are asking the public for information after an early morning break and enter in Wheatley.

Around 3 a.m. Saturday, police responded to an alarm at JNG Auto Sales.

An unknown person or persons entered the business by breaking a door frame and then fled the scene without stealing any property.
