Maroons head to St. Marys to take on Lincolns

The Chatham Maroons will hit the road Friday night for their first game of 2020.

The Maroons are coming off a win against the St. Thomas Stars on December 22 and have earned at least one point in eight of their last 10 games (six wins, two OT losses, two regulation losses).

The Lincolns are experiencing similar success recently -- closing out the 2019 portion of their schedule with six wins, two ties, and two regulation losses.

The last time the two teams met, the Lincolns beat the Maroons in Chatham 6-1 (December 15). The last time they met in St. Marys, the Maroons lost a heartbreaker in overtime 4-3 (October 25).

The Maroons are still looking to climb the standings with 18 games left in the regular season. Chatham is just four points behind LaSalle for fourth place in the Western Conference and the Maroons have a game in hand on the Vipers.

The Lincolns are solidly in third place with 46 points, trailing only London (58 points) and Leamington (53 points).
