COVID-19 numbers continue to fluctuate locally

The Grey Bruce Health Unit's COVID-19 count has dropped by one.

There are currently five active cases as one from early reports has recovered. There are a total of 128 recovered cases.

One long term care home in Thornbury is still under outbreak protocol due to a case of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the medical officer of health for Grey and Bruce, Dr. Ian Arra, will be part of a live social media event on October 7 hosted by Bruce Power. He will discuss the current COVID-19 situation at 7 p.m. next Wednesday.

There are two active COVID cases in Huron and Perth.

And there are six active cases in Wellington County. The Public Health Wellington Dufferin Guelph is tracking a total of 45 cases when Guelph and Dufferin are included in the count.
