No change to COVID caseload in Sarnia-Lambton

The local COVID-19 caseload is holding steady.

Lambton Public Health in its update Wednesday reported no new confirmed cases, unchanged since Saturday night.

The number of resolved cases is also unchanged at 318 and the death toll stands at 25, resulting in one active case.

Of the 26,621 test results received by the local health agency since the start of the pandemic, 1.3 per cent have come back positive for the virus.

Lambton Public Health said of the confirmed cases we have seen locally, 57 per cent have been female and 43 per cent male.
