Active COVID cases drop to four in Sarnia-Lambton

Four more people have recovered from COVID-19 locally.

Lambton Public Health reported a total of 309 resolved cases on its site Monday night, up four from Sunday night, leaving four active cases.

The total number of confirmed cases is unchanged at 338 and the death toll stands at 25.

In the last week, the health unit has received results from 1,172 COVID-19 tests. Over 22,000 have been conducted since the pandemic started, of which 1.5 per cent have been positive for the virus.

Bluewater Health reported on its website Tuesday that there are no patients confirmed to have the virus in hospital. There are 16 patients, including pre-surgical screenings, awaiting test results.
