The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, a majority of which are from the agri-farm sector.
A total of six of the latest cases were farmworkers while the remaining case was from the community.
There are now 2,364 confirmed cases in Windsor-Essex.
There was a sizeable jump in the number of cases that were listed as recovered. From Friday to Saturday 37 additional cases were resolved, bringing the total number of people who have recovered from the virus in the region to 2,101.
There were also two fewer workplace outbreaks declared as of Saturday. An outbreak at a manufacturing plant both in Windsor and Kingsville were rescinded. There remain 11 current workplace outbreaks in Windsor-Essex and one outbreak at a retirement home.
Meanwhile, provincial health officials reported a 0.2 per cent increase in the number of cases on Saturday, bringing the total caseload in Ontario to 39,967.
Ninety per cent of the total cases in the province have recovered, while fatalities account for seven per cent of the total caseload.
