COVID caseload unchanged, testing tops 18K

After a spike in local COVID-19 cases over the long Civic holiday weekend, the local caseload is unchanged from Monday night.

Lambton Public Health says 270 of the 319 confirmed cases have been deemed resolved.

The death toll stands at 25, unchanged in almost two months.

To date, 18,061 test results have been received and 98.2 per cent have been negative for the virus.

In its daily report Wednesday, Bluewater Health said there are currently no patients in hospital with COVID-19. There were 16 patients awaiting test results including pre-surgical screening.
