COVID caseload up two

Lambton Public Health is reporting two more confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The health unit says there have been a total of 295 confirmed cases of the virus since the pandemic started.

The number of recovered cases, 261, and the death toll, 25, is unchanged over the previous 24 hours -- there are a total of nine active cases.

To date, Lambton Public Health has received the results from 16,386 tests, of which 98.2 per cent have been negative for COVID-19.

In its daily update Monday, Bluewater Health reported that there are no patients currently in hospital with the virus.

There are 17 patients suspected of having the virus with test results pending.
