No change to local COVID caseload

The local COVID-19 caseload is holding steady.

There's been no change in the number of cases or recoveries since Tuesday night according to Lambton Public Health.

The health unit says 261 of the 292 confirmed cases have been deemed resolved and the death toll stands at 25.

To date, Lambton Public Health has received the results from 15,851 tests, of which over 98 per cent have been negative for the virus.

In its daily update Thursday, Bluewater Health reported that there are no patients currently in hospital with the virus.

There are 16 patients suspected of having the virus with test results pending.
