Local COVID caseload holds steady

There's been no change to the local COVID-19 numbers over the last 24 hours.

Lambton Public Health said there are six active cases with 261 of the 292 confirmed cases recovered.

There have been 25 related deaths, unchanged since June 6.

To date, the health unit has received results from 15, 679 tests. Less than two per cent have been positive for the deadly virus.

In its daily update Wednesday, Bluewater Health reported that there are no patients currently in hospital with the virus.

There are 13 patients suspected of having the virus with test results pending.
