New COVID-19 case in Kincardine

The Grey Bruce Public Health Unit has reported one new case of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, located in Kincardine.

It is the only active case in the region, and the patient is recovering at home.

The Meaford long-term care facility is experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak after a nonactive part-time staff member from outside the area tested positive.

There have been 116 cases to date and no deaths.

Huron Perth Public Health reported no new cases on Wednesday. There are three active cases in North Huron and North Perth.

Wellington County had no new cases reported on Wednesday. Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health said there are six active cases in Wellington.
