New COVID-19 cases reported in Midwestern Ontario

Some new cases of COVID-19 are being reported in Midwestern Ontario today.

Two new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Huron and Perth Counties today.  Huron Perth Public Health reports seven confirmed cases in North Perth, up from 5 on July 6th. There is one new case in North Huron.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reports one new lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 today in Wellington County. There are six active cases in Wellington County, all recovering at home.

There are no active cases in Grey and Bruce Counties, according to the Grey Bruce Health Unit.

Provincewide, there are 135 additional cases of the virus being reported today including one new death. 106 more cases were resolved

Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
