Vehicle stolen in Bothwell

On Friday a vehicle was stolen from an auto repair shop in Bothwell by an unknown suspect.

The vehicle is described as a 2008 white Mazda MA5 with the license plate BZKR 616.

Anyone with information or who sees the vehicle is asked to contact police.

Traffic enforcement

On Friday police saw a woman driving a vehicle on King Street.

She was known to be a disqualified driver and officers initiated a traffic stop.

The 31-year-old Chatham woman was charged accordingly and the vehicle was impounded for 45 days.

Arrest on warrant 

On Friday police initiated a traffic stop in regards to a disqualified driver.

Inside the vehicle was a 44-year-old Windsor man who had an outstanding warrant out of Leamington.

The man was arrested on the warrant and turned over to the OPP.

According to Chatham-Kent police, the victim was walking around King Street East in Chatham when she was approached by a woman she didn't know and struck in the face.
