Leamington cancels all municipal events through to Labour Day

All municipal events in Leamington have been cancelled through to Labour Day now because of the pandemic.

That includes the Mill Street Markets, the Summer Concert Series, Sunday Serenades at Rick Atkin Park, and Music at the Marina.

Summer day camp programming is still closed. The Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre is hosting the COVID-19 assessment centre and isolation centre for migrant workers who have tested positive for the virus.

The municipality said it is working with event organizers to delay or cancel events as the need arises. It is also trying to find alternative options for events on municipal property planned up to September 7.
