Sarnia-Lambton COVID cases unchanged, tests surpass 14,000

The number of COVID-19 tests in Sarnia-Lambton has surpassed 14,000 with two per cent coming back positive.

On Saturday night Lambton Public Health reported the number of confirmed cases remained at 286 with 259 resolved.

There have been no related deaths since June 6 and the death toll stands at 25, leaving two active cases.

Bluewater Health reported Sunday that there are no patients in hospital with the virus and 14 were suspected of having it with tests pending.

Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
