UPDATE: Active COVID-19 Cases falling in Midwestern Ontario

People in Midwestern Ontario are helping to keep the number of new cases low in the region.

No new cases are being reported again today in Wellington County. Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health says there are 4 active cases in Wellington, among 24 active cases when Dufferin and Guelph are added in. One person is in hospital in Guelph.

Huron Perth Public Health reports another day of no new cases. There is one active case in Perth County.  65 people were tested in the past day for a total of 9,386.

One new case of COVID-19 was reported in the latest update from the Grey Bruce Health Unit.  The case was referred to another Health Unit as the client now living there. The number of active cases in the region is down to just two patients.

Crash in Tilbury claims driver's life

Chatham-Kent police reported a 44-year-old man driving a pickup truck was killed in the crash at Jeanettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
