Two Chatham-Kent residents are facing drug trafficking charges after police searched a residence and a vehicle in Thamesville.
Police said they executed the search warrants on Thursday and seized approximately $6,700 worth of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and oxycodone.
Officers also confiscated a set of brass knuckles, a BB gun, two cell phones, some debt lists, and some cash.
As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Bradley Petrusenko of River Line in Thamesville was arrested and charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, four counts of possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order, and one count of possession of a banned weapon.
He was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
27-year-old Erica Gammage of Campbell Street in Chatham was also arrested in connection with the case. She was charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order, and one count of possession of a banned weapon.
She was later released pending a future court date.
At this time, none of the allegations against the accused have been proven in court.
