Huron Kinloss reopens beaches

The Township of Huron-Kinloss has opened beaches effective immediately after the Grey Bruce Health Unit rescinded the order for municipalities to close all beaches in Grey and Bruce Counties.

The beaches and shoreline in Huron-Kinloss are OPEN to walk through, to swim, exercise or walk pets or use areas of beaches that are not otherwise prohibited from use or closed.  Play equipment swings, slides, splash pads, and public washrooms are still off-limits.

Individuals are encouraged to maintain a safe physical distance of at least two metres from others and to keep gathering under five people.

All open air burning including recreational fires and beach fires are now allowed, however, Beach Fire Permits are required for all beach fires.
